Like Steve Jobs, Phillip Chagoya went to Reed College.
Like Steve Jobs, Phillip also worked at Apple.
Like Mark Zuckerberg, Phillip went to Harvard.
Like Mark Zuckerberg, Phillip also worked at Facebook.
The biggest difference?
Phillip Chagoya graduated and those other jokers didn’t.

My award shelf is empty.
No Lions. No One Show Pencils. Not even employee of the month.
Once I won an Outback Steakhouse gift card and it was delicious. Yup, I ate the card.
I don't have awards, but at Apple I created training for a global sales force of over 5 million people in 40+ countries. During product cycles that regularly feature articles telling not to buy a dated product, Apple continued to smash its sales goals.
At Facebook, I led the team in the revamp of Facebook for Business, which took the company from 2 million to 3 million advertisers at the time.
At Uber, creative work was responsible for 65% of rider first trips in 2017. When someone downloaded the app and took a first ride, it was due to our ads. During the #deleteuber campaign, Uber lost 500,000 accounts. What you didn't hear about is how my team optimized our App Store presence and boosted downloads by 150K+ for the next 6 months, effectively neutralizing the losses.
At Instacart, I scaled high-quality creative and a world-class team during the COVID lockdowns, at HBO…you get the idea.
Awards are nice, but they don't really drive the business. And of course, work doesn't need an award to be great.
I've been an in-house creative all my career. When we work together, you’ll see that I push ideas to be better and love it when others push me to be better as well.
In my free time, I'm usually hanging out with my three favorite ladies—my wife, Amanda, and my two daughters, Harper and Eris.
